Another little box.

I just love these!!! Same set up as below, except printed with Pink Petticoat Little Swirls in Duck Egg Blue. Punched a couple of holes and added some silver eyelets, a little ribbon from stash and voila! A little handle, added a little Laura Ashley tag with some fibre from the same. It's just crying out for a little button and flower on the front, but I had nothing I was happy with to suit, I feel a shopping expedition coming on I think!!!

Gift Box

Little gift box made using a template downloaded from Papertrey Ink it was designed by Laura Meaden and is the smallest in the selection, thought I would be best starting small as it was my first attempt. Printed up some card using Pink Damask from Pink Petticoat, I then put the card through the printer again and printed the template on the other side. Cut and folded as instructed and added a little detail using some paper flowers from Prima and a brad from Laura Ashley, also a little freebie sentiment on the front cute!

Wedding Wishes.

I decided to be a bit more organised and get a head start on a wedding card that I needed to make for my husband's cousin Karen who is getting married on September 25th. My husband Gary, my daughters Catherine, Maeve and myself are all invited and really looking forward to it. So, thought I'd better make a wee card now instead of the day before, which is what I usually end up doing, lol! I have used Pink Petticoat's "Old Fashioned Girl" range which I think is truly lovely, though I have'nt used it in a while. The card blank was printed using Pink Damask and I then mounted up some card printed using Cream Flourishes. I then tore some card which was printed using Words of Love, all from the same collection. I then used up a scrap of Pink Damask and punched a little border and mounted up a little sentiment. I then threaded some velvet ribbon through and attached using some glue dots. Some little crystal hearts from my stash finished off, I like it, simple yet tasteful and lovely colour combination.

Sprinkles!

This little card was created using a stamp I bought from Pink Gem Designs her name is Fairy Sprinkles. This is the second Sprinkles I've purchased, I think she's a sweetie. I used some scrap paper left over, its from Daisy Bucket I think and then mounted up some lilac card which I ran through the cuttlebug using the swiss dots folder. I then mounted up Sprinkles, which I coloured with my Faber Castell pencils with some foam pads. Added a little sticky border which came free with Papercraft Inspirations and added a little "thank you" sticker to match, finished with a little butterfly sticker and some Stickles glue. Nice.

First in a while.

Well it has to be said. This is the first card I've made in around 2 months and I have to say it's good to be back! I just lost it for a while. Life can throw up some situations which force hobbies and nice things onto the back burner, pity though. OK this little creation is one of the stunning Gorjuss Girls, I just adore these stamps and have done for a while from afar, so I decided to purchase to see if I could kick start the creative juices again. I just love the little face and her gorjuss hair. The image was coloured using Faber Castell watercolour pencils and mounted up on some freebie papers, they are actually Christmas papers! The little butterfly is also a freebie from a crafting mag, can't remember which though! I like this, think I may go for another one this evening.

Gem of a girl!

First addition in a while as I have been busy nursing my youngest back to health again, she's doing well now! This stamp was purchased a few weeks ago but only getting around to using it now. It's Fairy Sprinkles from http://www.pinkgemdesigns.co.uk I think she is toooo cute. I was using up some scraps as I do seem to have quite a few bits and pieces lying around so I thought the blue, brown, pink and lime green were a good combination. The images was coloured using Faber Castell pencils, the die cut flowers I got from E-Bay, the brad is from Papermania as is the little sentiment. I finished with come Stickles glue. The little frame cam free with a magazine. Enjoyed this one and really like the colours.
