I recently created this page using a photo that was taken of my daughters at a family wedding. They are growing up to be such pretty young ladies! I do love them dearly :) I gave the photo a vintage look using Photoscape, the background pattern is from Pink Petticoats' Elegant Swirls I think, the ribbon is from stash, the buttons were part of a lovely parcel I purchased from Melissa Philips through Etsy as was the string, the little angel wings I bought from someone on E Bay, I gave them a little spakle using Stickles glue, the stamped frame was done using a stamp from Papermanias Signature range, the flower is from Prima and the punch used is from Cara Craft.

Happy Easter
Little card and gift box combo here, was feeling a little bored, started with a couple of bits of paper from My Minds Eye, Pretty Please collection and this was the finished product. Little flowers are from Prima as are the flower centres, glitter is Stickles and the border was punched using my Martha Stewart punch, distressed up a bit with Tim Holtz, tattered rose ink. The "Happy Easter" stamp is from Papermania and was head embossed using silver embossing powder from the Heat it up range. The little box is made using a template from Lauren Meader and her My Time Made Easy collection.

Made using freebies!
Hi all,
Have'nt been on here in ages, had a bit of a break from crafting this last while back, just lost the taste for it I think but I'm feeling good that my interest has picked up again, we all need a distraction I think and this is a really healthy one!!! Couple of springlike cards made using materials that came free with one magazine or another, the papers and little embellishments and sentiment came with Cardmaking Made Easy. I love the colours here the pinks and greens mixed with a little yellow and white are refreshing after the dark days of winter! They are produced by My Minds Eye from their Pretty Please collection. Cute. The little mice came as part of a Beatrix Potter collection free with Papercraft Inspirations I think, I like these as they go nicely with the vintage/shabby style i've fallen into. Embossed flower is from Cuttlebug and the little gems are from Prima, distressed up a bit with Tim Holtz, Tattered Rose ink, which I use on nearly all my cards. I love it. Anyhoo, hope to show a few more bits and pieces soon, its lovely to see the great creations of those I follow on blogger, inspirational!

my girls x
hi all,
just thought i'd share a little picture of my two daughters taken recently when we attended a cousins wedding. It's not very often I get a chance to picture them together these days, what can I say, I am parenting two teenagers! I like this one though and am amazed at how alike they've grown...... despite having totally different personalities.

more chrismassy stuff!
hi all,
a couple of new additions here, been loving today, creating Christmas cards, feeling that lovely warm glow that comes with the prospect of cosy rooms, warm home, cinnamon scents and twinkling lights! love it all! it is amazing what you can do with your leftovers, I haven't really used any new full sheets here, just some bits and pieces laying around along with my Papermania Signature stamp which I bought yesterday and am totally hooked on so you may see a lot of it for a while, just humour me! Love this colour combo, the garnet and green on cream cardstock is so festive I think, used some more of the Pink Petticoat Fairy Lights range, the olive wallpaper, love this flourish look distressed up a bit with Tim Holtz, tattered rose, it appeals to me and makes me smile.

vintage christmas
morning all,
ok, I have to something to confess, I'm off work today and I've made a card already when I really should be ironing. Hands up, I'm guilty! The ironing basket sits here in my little craft room and it is haunting me, I have to get it done. :( But, priorities first, this is a little vintage Christmas card I made with a few scraps laying about on my table and my new Papermania Signature Collection stamp which I just adore, I love all things shabby at the moment and would love to polish up my shabby skills if that's not a contradiction!!!! The red patterned paper is from Pink Petticoat, a scrap left over from a card I made last night. I mounted it up on some cream cardstock which I have really come to love recently and cut a little border using my Martha Stewart doilie lace punch (love it). The punch detail in the corner was made using my Carla Craft corner punch. The little greeting stamp came free with the latest edition of Papercraft Inspirations, finished off with a little sparkly gem, oh, and the ink is Tim Holtz, Tattered Rose. So off to tackle the dreaded ironing but I'll supplement it with a little crafty break later on!!

first of the season.
Hi all,
Up a little later tonight waiting for my daughter to return from a concert, she's gone to Belfast to see Greenday, so, I'm crafting a little to pass the time. First of the season here for me, haven't even thought of making any Christmas cards yet but I have to admit I have enjoyed looking at other blogs and lots of ladies have been super organised and have been posting for ages though when I had a little peek at Pink Petticoat's new Fairy Lights collection I was excited to say the least! I am a bit of a fan of the Petticoat and just think this collection is really beautiful. I love that it is so versatile and can be used for contemporary cards and well as traditional, the selection allows that. So this little number was made using the "Christmas Flowers" design along with the "crimson wallpaper", love this design can be used for so much more!! Printed the little Christmas Tree for buttons, instead I used little heart gems from Papermania, I punched some circles from some crimson paper I had spare and mounted up some spotty buttons also from Papermania. Finished off with a touch of Stickles glue and voila!!! I like it, cheery! Hope Catherine isn't much longer I'm feeling sooooo tired tonight!
P.S. Apologies for the pic, bit too close to the top, but this is attempt number four and I'm way to tired to care!!
Regards
anne :)
