For a friend.......

I created this little number for my daughter Maeve to give to her school chum, it's her birthday party tomorrow evening.  I have recently purchased these new papers from Pink Petticoat its from their Autumn Blossoms range of papers, just love them!! So, this was a great opportunity to give them a wee run out.  I also used on of the Lola range of digi stamps also from Pink Petticoat.  I coloured with some Copics and finished with some nice Prima flowers and gems, and my all time favourite Stickles glue.  I just love the autumnal colours, really pretty.

Thanks

What I made while the football was on !!!

Just a little card I made while the footie was on.  Once its switched over I disappear into my little craft room where I can enter a wee world of my own, my time.  Created this using some papers from Laura Ashley and some from stash.  I stamped one of my Gorjuss Girls and coloured using Copics.  I cut and mounted this using Nestabilities Labels 2. I cut and layered a couple of  Martha Stewart borders.  I finished with a Prima flower,  Making Memories brad and some pearls from Pima, oh and off course some Stickles, love it !!!  Quite please with this one, nice colours and put together well, worked out ok :)

Birthday wishes.

Created this card for my Mother in Law for her birthday which is coming up soon.  Began with pale pink cardstock, then attached some scalloped edging cut from a Papermaina scalloped card, I then attached a little notelet from Primas Fairy Flora range, they just arrived this morning in the post and I got sooo excited, they are just lovely, so shabby!  I then attached a few twigs and added some Prima flowers and flower centres, I stamped a vintage oval using Papermanias Chatsworth range of stamps and added a sentiment from my stash.  I finished with some scrunched seam binding from Memrie Mare and a little button from stash and added a little Stickles glue in Waterfall to the twigs.  I also distressed the edges with some Tim Holtz, Tattered Rose ink.  I really like this one, I enjoy this style of cardmaking, reflects my personality well .

little offering

Just a little card made very quickly while the football was on, it's driving me mad by the way.  I've been having a bit of a tough time recently so my cardmaking has been on the back burner for a while, just don't seem to have the heart these days.  I still check on other creators blogs and admire the work of many, I enjoy that at least.  Humble little card, nothing fancy or over the top, just a bit shabby and girlie, I like its simplicity.

Gorjuss Happy Day!!

Little bit of experimenting for me here, have recently entered the wonderful world of Copic markers and am currently training myself in some colouring techniques courtesy of blogland and Youtube.  This is a little card made using  the freebie papers received with Papercraft Inspirations I think, have used these so much lately but I just adore the colours and the are very springlike, lovely!  The are from the Pretty Please collection by My Minds Eye.  The little stamp is of course from the lovely, beautiful Gorjuss Girl range of stamps, she is way too cute!  Would love a few more of these guys so me thinks I need some retail therapy. Mmmmm! The flowers are from Prima, made all sparkley with Stickles glue and the brad was from my stash.  Anyhoo, was happy with the colouring here, not too bad for a learner I think anyway.  The thing is though these Copics are addictive, I'm already choosing my colours for this months purchase, its a pity I have to wait til the end of the month for them!!!!

New Page

I recently created this page using a photo that was taken of my daughters at a family wedding. They are growing up to be such pretty young ladies!  I do love them dearly :)  I gave the photo a vintage look using Photoscape, the background pattern is from Pink Petticoats' Elegant Swirls I think, the ribbon is from stash, the buttons were part of a lovely parcel I purchased from Melissa Philips through Etsy as was the string, the little angel wings I bought from someone on E Bay, I gave them a little spakle using Stickles glue, the stamped frame was done using a stamp from Papermanias Signature range,  the flower is from Prima and the punch used is from Cara Craft.

Happy Easter

Little card and gift box combo here, was feeling a little bored, started with a couple of bits of paper from My Minds Eye, Pretty Please collection and this was the finished product.  Little flowers are from Prima as are the flower centres, glitter is Stickles and the border was punched using my Martha Stewart punch, distressed up a bit with Tim Holtz, tattered rose ink.  The "Happy Easter" stamp is from Papermania and was head embossed using silver embossing powder from the Heat it up range.  The little box is made using a template from Lauren Meader and her My Time Made Easy collection.

Made using freebies!

Hi all,

Have'nt been on here in ages, had a bit of a break from crafting this last while back, just lost the taste for it I think but I'm feeling good that my interest has picked up again, we all need a distraction I think and this is a really healthy one!!!  Couple of springlike cards made using materials that came free with one magazine or another, the papers and little embellishments and sentiment came with Cardmaking Made Easy.  I love the colours here the pinks and greens mixed with a little yellow and white are refreshing after the dark days of winter!  They are produced by My Minds Eye from their Pretty Please collection.  Cute.  The little mice came as part of a Beatrix Potter collection free with Papercraft Inspirations I think, I like these as they go nicely with the vintage/shabby style i've fallen into.  Embossed flower is from Cuttlebug and the little gems are from Prima, distressed up a bit with Tim Holtz, Tattered Rose ink, which I use on nearly all my cards.  I love it.  Anyhoo, hope to show a few more bits and pieces soon, its lovely to see the great creations of those I follow on blogger, inspirational!
