on a roll today!

Have really enjoyed myself today, I had an unexpected day off work and was motivated enough to get the dreaded housie stuff out of the way early so I would have some playtime! I have been busy since early afternoon playing with my bits of paper and stamps, it was wonderful and guilt free! This little image is Maggie, would you like to meet her? She is from Sugar Nellie designs and i think she is so sweet!

Little Gem!

Recently purchased this little guy from http://pinkgemdesigns.blogspot.com/, isn't he just adorable in his little bumble-bee suit! I really enjoyed making this little card, the colours all just seem to come together and it felt so easy. Nice one!

Pink Petticoat thank you.

I had another one of those episodes this week when you realise that your child is growing up way too fast and is tip toeing into the big world! My daughter, who is almost 17, is on work experience this week. I know, I'm sad! She has been lucky enough to be able to obtain a great insight into the legal system as she is "working" in the courthouse. She has an interest in criminal psychology of all things! I watched her get out of the car and make her way up the steps, unsure of what lay ahead, but hey! she did really great, and loved it! So, I thought I would make this little card to say thank you to the ladies in the office for looking after my baby so well! I used the black flourishes from Pink Petticoat Sweet Sundaes range, the little lady is also from Pink Petticoat, she is of course Lola, coloured with my Faber Castell pencils mounted up on some pink card from my stash. The black ribbon is from Papermania as is the flower and button. The die cut flower was cut using my trusty cuttlebug and a sizzix die, finished off with some Stickles glue and a little sparkly heart. Nice, I think!
